Tidal effects in the motion of gas clouds around boson stars

چکیده

We study the motion of gas clouds in vicinity boson stars, performing simulations with black hole accretion code. compare particle along geodesics and analyze tidal effects on clouds, which leads to disruption clouds. First we consider small dense associated three different types bound orbits close star mechanisms debris formation for these. infer from that lifetimes these nearby are longer initially circularly orbiting than eccentric orbits. Next evolution more extended less circular around a Schwarzschild two spacetimes. In particular, observe ringlike structure endowed spiralling shock constant thermal bremsstrahlung total luminosity. This final configuration contrasts strongly scenario where is totally captured behind event horizon.

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Lensing of Stars by Spherical Gas Clouds

If the Galaxy contains ∼1011M⊙ in cold gas clouds of ∼Jovian mass and ∼AU size, these clouds will act as converging lenses for optical light, magnifying background stars at a detectable rate. The resulting light curves can resemble those due to gravitational lensing by a point mass, raising the possibility that some of the events attributed to gravitational microlensing might in fact be due to ...

On the gas temperature in circumstellar disks around A stars

In circumstellar disks or shells it is often assumed that gas and dust temperatures are equal where the latter is determined by radiative equilibrium. This paper deals with the question whether this assumption is applicable for tenous circumstellar disks around young A stars. In this paper the thin hydrostatic equilibrium models described by Kamp & Bertoldi (2000) are combined with a detailed h...

Rapid Formation of Gas Giant Planets around M Dwarf Stars

Extrasolar planet surveys have begun to detect gas giant planets in orbit around M dwarf stars. While the frequency of gas giant planets around M dwarfs so far appears to be lower than that around G dwarfs, it is clearly not zero. Previous work has shown that the core accretion mechanism does not seem to be able to form gas giant planets around M dwarfs, because the time required for core forma...

Be stars in and around young clusters in the Magellanic Clouds

We present the results of a search for Be stars in six fields centered on the young clusters NGC 330 and NGC 346 in the SMC, and NGC 1818, NGC 1948, NGC 2004 and NGC 2100 in the LMC. Be stars were identified by differencing R band and narrow-band Hα CCD images. Our comparatively large images provide substantial Be star populations both within the clusters and in their surrounding fields. Magnit...
